  • We’re out to prove that that green peas are enough to spice up your meal, your kitchen and home dining.

    Australian green split peas are mixed with plenty of herbs and spices - garlic, salt, mild paprika, turmeric - that can be all cooked into one pot with coconut milk or fresh cream to create a mildly spices, green lentil curry that would leave you wanting for more.

    Serve as a hearty dish on its own or as a side dish with your favourite grilled or BBQ meats, tofu or vegetables.

  • INGREDIENTS
    • 1 box Turban Chopsticks Green Pea Dahl Kit
    • 2 cups of diced vegetables (broccoli, kale and silverbeet) OR 300g protein
    • 1 onion diced
    • 2 tablespoons preferred oil or (coconut ghee, indian ghee)
    • 1 1⁄2 cups coconut milk
    EASY STEPS
    1) RINSE green split peas in a sieve under cold water for 30 seconds. Drain well.
    2) HEAT saucepan over low heat. Add oil/ghee, spices and onion, sauté until golden brown. Add either protein or vegetables, sauté for 2 minutes.
    3) ADD rinsed green split peas to saucepan, with 2 1⁄2 cups of cold water and
    coconut milk. Bring dish to boil on high and cook for 15 minutes.
    4) COOK for a further 30 minutes over medium heat with lid on. Stir occasionally,
    until everything is cooked and lentils are soft and thick.

  • Seafood requires shorter cooking time. Add towards the end of the cooking process to avoid over-cooking. Blitz dish in a blender for a silky curry sauce. Add extra cream towards the end to serve.

Easy and delicious!

These products are amazing and tasty. I would spend hours preparing pastes but now buying ready made jars makes cooking faster. My favourite is the Green Pea dahl, easy to prepare and delicious.
