Crunchy green beans and flavourful spicy sambal paste makes this Sambal Green Beans a tasty vegetarian side dish. For those 'no effort' nights, this quick finger licking stir fry is best accompanied with a bowl of jasmine rice. You can eat them hot or cold and even the next day, but we don't think they'll last!

Turban Tips

Try it with sweet snow peas, brocollini or any other asian greens.

Add in birds eye chillies for a spicy side dish.

METHOD

  1. Heat oil in a wok and saute the garlic.
  2. Add beans and water and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the beans are cooked and well coated.
  3. Serve as a side dish or with a bowl of jasmine rice and your preferred proteins.
