  • Another tantalising little bites in our Turban Chopsticks range that are a real hit with kids (and adults alike) is our Potato Ricotta Balls!

    Made out of chickpea, potato, rice, tapioca and maize flour combinations, we have added a generous flavouring of Indian spices, a good handful of sweet sultanas and a smashing of roasted cashew nuts, all you need to do is add ricotta cheese or tofu to create snacks that will deliciously melt in your mouth.

    Just a word of warning: once they’re out of the fryer and onto plates… they’ll disappear pretty quickly!

  • INGREDIENTS
    • Turban Chopsticks Mini Bombay Burgers Kit
    • 3 cups of grated vegetables ie. pumpkin, beetroot, carrot, brocolli, cauliflower
    • 1 large onion, finely diced
    • preferred oil for frying
    EASY STEPS
    1. MIX dry packet ingredients with 1 cup of HOT water and stir well. Add onion and vegetables. Ensure that everything is well combined.
    2. PORTION Divide mix into 12 portions and roll into roundish patties.
    3. FRY Heat large fry pan with oil, on a low to medium flame. When hot, add the
    patties to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes each side, until it is cooked through and golden brown.
    4. SERVE immediately on your burger bun, with large dollops of your favourite
    chutney, yoghurt raita and YUMMY salad ingredients. Bombay Blissing!

  • Replace ricotta for silken tofu for a vegan alternative. Dust your hands with flour when rolling out the koftas, so its not sticky to work with.

    Bake for healthy alternative. Add 1 cup of chopped raw seafood for a sensationally decadent treat!
