Place all ingredients in a rice cooker, for a perfectly cooked rice dish. Replace vegetables with 2 cups of fresh pineapple pieces and fresh coconut flesh for a mouthwatering, juicy rice dish. Stir dish regulary as rice tends to stick to pot base.

- INGREDIENTS
• 1 box Turban Chopsticks Royal Festival Briyani Rice Kit
• 300g preferred protein OR vegetables
• 2 tablespoons of preferred oil or coconut ghee, indian ghee
EASY STEPS
1. RINSE rice in a sieve under cold water for 30 seconds. Drain well.
2. HEAT saucepan over LOW heat. Add oil or ghee, protein or vegetables. Sauté for 2 minutes until par-cooked with lid on. Add enclosed packet of cashews, sultanas, shallots and packet of spices. Sauté for 30 seconds.
3. ADD washed rice and 2 cups of cold water to the saucepan. Stir well. Bring dish
to boil. Cook for 15 minutes over low heat with lid on. Do not stir.
4. SERVE Remove from heat when rice is cooked and fluffy. Rest for 5 minutes
before serving. Garnish with fried curry leaves and dollops of natural yogurt and
enjoy immediately! FEAST AWAY! -

Our Jewelled Mung Dhal is a one pot wonder that will result in a mildly spiced creamy lentil curry. Nourish the body, mind and soul with this nutritious dish.
Delicious, hearty and filling on its own, we can also recommend having the Mung Dhal as the jewel finish to your overall meals of grilled, fried or BBQ meats, vegetables or tofu.
- INGREDIENTS
• 1 box Turban Chopsticks Jewelled Mung Dahl Kit
• 2 cups fresh leafy greens i.e spinach, kale, silverbeet
• 1 cup diced vegetables ie. pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot
• 1 onion diced
• 2 tbsp preferred oil
EASY STEPS
1) RINSE yellow mung beans in sieve under cold water for 30 seconds. Drain well.
2) HEAT saucepan over low heat. Add oil and onion, sauté until golden brown. Add diced vegetables, saute for 2 minutes. Add enclosed packet of spices, sauté for 30 seconds.
3) ADD rinsed mung beans to saucepan with 4 cups of cold water.
4) COOK for 25-30 minutes over medium heat with lid on. Stir occasionally.
5) ADD leafy greens and stir well. Greens will collapse and soften.

• 1 onion diced
• 1 tablespoon preferred oil or butter
EASY STEPS

3. ADD washed rice and 2 cups of stock. Stir well.
4. COOK for 15 minutes over low heat with lid on. Do not stir.
Dish is ready when rice is cooked, soft and fluffy and liquid is absorbed.
5. SERVE by cooling rice down and mixing through fresh salad ingredients. Top with fresh herbs such as coriander, dill or mint. -

- INGREDIENTS
• 1 box Turban Chopsticks South Indian Spiced Tomato Dahl Kit
• 3 cups of mixed veg
• 1 onion (diced)
• 1 can tomatoes (chopped)
• 1 can coconut milk
• 2 tbsp preferred oil
• 3 cups of water
EASY STEPS
1) RINSE red lentils in a sieve under cold water for 30 seconds. Drain well.
2) SAUTE onions and spiced mix in oil for 2 - 3 minutes over low heat.
3) ADD lentils, 3 cups of water, can tomatoes, vegetables and coconut milk and
cook over medium heat for 15 minutes until cooked.
