Chilli Garlic Noodles

These quick and easy chilli garlic noodles are packed with bold flavour and come together with just 5 simple ingredients in under 10 minutes making them the perfect go-to for busy weeknights. Add extra chilli oil for a kick. Use rice noodles for a gluten free version.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g of noodles of your choice (eg ramen or hokkien)
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp Turban Chopsticks Sambal (adjust to heat level)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 spring onions, sliced

 

METHOD

  1. Boil noodles according to packet instructions. Drain and reserve about ¼ cup noodle water.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until lightly golden.
  3. Stir in chilli oil and soy sauce. 
  4. Add cooked noodles and a splash of reserved noodle water. Toss until evenly coated and glossy.
  5. Top with spring onions and serve hot.
