Six Silver. One Bronze. And a very happy Turban Chopsticks kitchen. 🌶️
We're incredibly proud to share that seven Turban Chopsticks products have been awarded medals in the 2026 Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards.
BRONZE 🥉
Yellow Curry
The Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards is one of Australia's largest national, industry focused food awards programs, giving producers the opportunity to benchmark their products and receive independent feedback from leading industry experts.
And some of that feedback made us particularly proud.
Our Thai Green Curry was recognised for its balance, sweet spices and “lovely aromatics”; Thai Red for its punchy lemongrass, lime and galangal flavours; while our Satay Peanuts was described as having “impressive flavour and aroma” and warm, classic satay flavours.
A little medal history
These aren't the first medals to find their way into the Turban Chopsticks kitchen.
Our products have been receiving recognition through Australian food and Royal awards since 2018, including eight Royal food award medals across WA and Victoria that year. In 2023, Satay Peanuts went on to be named Melbourne Royal Savoury Preserve Champion.
For us, awards have never just been about adding another medal to the shelf.
They're an opportunity to put the food we make in front of independent industry judges, benchmark it against other Australian producers and, importantly, keep learning and improving. That's one of the key purposes of the Australian Food Awards itself.
So to see seven different Turban Chopsticks flavours recognised in 2026 means a lot.
Because after all these years, the idea behind TC remains pretty simple and possible:
Big flavour. Less fuss. And plenty of room to make it your own.
Congratulations to all the Australian producers recognised as well in this year's awards and thank you to Melbourne Royal and the judging panel and of course, a special thank you to our spicy loving community of foodies for their support.
