QUICK FESTIVE TREATS- a little bit of summer cooking!

chia quinoa salad
– the perfect gluten free stuffing – cook according to the recipe and ADD 1
tablespoon fresh parsley + 1 tablespoon fresh coriander + 1 egg + a dollop of
butter + 1 stalk of diced celery + 1 cup grated apple = amazingly tasty
STUFFING for any turkey, chicken, capsicum or field mushrooms!

almond cumin pilaf rice
– cook this together with florets of cauliflower, fresh green peas and handfuls
of fresh coriander! Use this as a fantastic base to any BBQ meats this SUMMER
on a beautiful platter… Go on!! Show it off! or serve it cold as a picnic
salad!

spiced cous cous salad- is the perfect salad to bring to any SUMMER BBQ, just add diced cucumbers,
cherry tomatoes, baby spinach leaves topped with some grilled SEAFOOD and large
wedges of juicy lime! it will be irresistibly delectable!

butter chicken – add 1 jar + 3 large dollops of butter + 1/2 cup of fresh thickened cream + 2
tablespoons of tomato paste + 1 kg chicken drumsticks… MARINADE…..BBQ =
seriously naughty buttery chicken drumsticks… VEGO OPTION- I LOVE this recipe
with button mushrooms on the BBQ!

green pea dahl- cook this recipe with 4 cups of fresh spinach + 2 cups of grated pumpkin….
CHILL OVERNIGHT, then serve this as a cold dip mixed with fresh yogurt and warm
Turkish bread for the CREAMIEST, most greenly gorgeous dip!

white lentil coconut fritters- this product is made for those unexpected guests that
just POP on over…. Mix this together with handfuls of fresh coriander, diced
red onion, diced raw prawns, crabmeat or grated veggies for a quick and easy
snack with a beer, a bubbly or two….or BULK this recipe up with 1/2 cup
grated zucchini, 1/2 cup grated pumpkin + 1 can 4 bean mix for a hearty VEGO
burger pattie for your vegetarian guests!

satay peanuts – smear dollops of this nutty paste on turkish, lebanese, naan breads or pizza
bases, topped with shredded (leftover) BBQ chicken and handfuls of cheddar
cheese for a naughty snack that is prepared quickly under the HOT grill…..
DELICIOUS!

thai green curry – 1 jar + 1 kg prawns/calamari + 1 tbsp fish sauce + ½ cup coconut cream…
MARINADE and TOSS this straight on the BBQ, for some seriously fresh, tasty and
summery seafood! Garnish with lots of coriander leaves and a BIG squeeze of
lemon juice! Tantalize your tastebuds today!
